Nope. Not gonna happen

Okay. Sorry. I tried. But turns out this just isn't going to work out.

Too much going on around here and never enough time at the computer. If you want to keep up with Ella, you can always friend me on Facebook. Leave me a comment with your email and I'll tell you how to find me.

I will still read all the blogs I currently read, but as for this one, this will be my last post. I'm glad I started this and was able to find some great blogs to follow, but sorry. I just can't hang. I tried for two years, but never really amounted to much. So...so long folks!!

Here we go again

Dang it...I swear. I can't blog consistently to save my life. Shame on me.

In my defense, I have started writing several posts (albeit in my head), but something always tends to come up before I get to the computer and then I forget. You know, the baby's hungry or grumpy or just wants to be held. Or I desperately need a shower. Or food. Or clean clothes. Oh, the life of a stay at home mommy. :o)

Well, one thing I'll note since I last posted. Ella had her 4 month check up at the pediatrician on the 7th. She was 13lb 11.5oz and 23.5". She's pretty average for weight, about 52%. Still a shorty though. Only 23% for height. Oh well, she's just perfect to us. :o)

Time has just been flying by lately. I don't know where it's gone! I'll try to better about posting before too much more time has gone by.

Thanks for sticking around!

Nothing important

I don't have anything real interesting to say today, I'm just bored. Actually, I'm about to go a bit stir crazy. This crazy weather we've been getting has got me even more cooped up in the house than usual and it's really starting to get to me. The entire week, I've only been out of the house for an hour, to go to pilates. I haven't visited friends. I haven't gone shopping. I haven't even been to the mailbox! I really wanted to go run some much needed errands today, but John didn't want me out driving with ice on the roads.

It's supposed to be back up in the 50s tomorrow, so I told John that I AM going to run errands tomorrow. By myself. And I'm going to take as much time as I want! Since Ella was born, I haven't had very much "me time". Oh, sure, I may get an hour or two here and there, but when you're at home with the same small person day after day, an hour or two here and there just doesn't cut it. John, on the other hand, has had SEVERAL full weekends of "guy time". And time away from home, for that matter, so he has no daddy responsibilities to speak of during his "guy time".

Now, I understand that breastfeeding does mean that I CAN'T be away that much, but still. I sure would prefer and hour or two every few days instead of every once in a long while. Is that too much to ask? Really, I can't wait for Ella to be able to sit up on her own. That sure will make shopping and errands a little easier not having to deal with her car seat and all that. At least then maybe I can leave the house more easily, but I still would love just a little more "me time".

Anywhoser, John thinks he's going to spend all this time working in the garage tomorrow with his brother. Ha! There is NO WAY he's going to bully me into either a) staying home and watching Ella or b) taking her with me. He gets so much more time for himself and I am going to take time for myself, like it or not. I need it. Just a little break. If only to go to Target and the grocery store. :o)

The one about the baby

So I didn't want to just bust up in here and overload you guys with all that's been going on the past 4 or 5 months all at once. I figured I should start small. Then you wouldn't get so bored with one giant post and maybe you'd come back to read more later on. :o)

I figured I should probably start with Ella. I'm sure that's who you're most interested in anyway, am I right?

You know, I'm not quite sure where in my pregnancy I left off from blogging, but the last about 2 months I started getting high blood pressure and lots of swelling. While my doctor never actually diagnosed me as having pre-eclampsia, it was bad enough in the end that she decided if Ella hadn't made her debut by 40 weeks, we were going to induce. At my last appointment, we scheduled the induction for 6am on Thursday October 7.

You can imagine my surprise when I was awakened at 2am on the 7th by contractions! At first, I didn't know they were contractions, but after I had 3 in a row, almost exactly 10min apart, I was sure. I decided I should go ahead and take a shower, wake up John, then we'd get our stuff and maybe head to the hospital. Well, by the time I got in the shower (was only about 2:40am now), my contractions jumped all the way to 3 minutes apart! So I had a quickie shower and John woke up as I was starting to get dressed and I told him we needed to go already! He jumps up and gets dressed and gets the rest of our stuff together, feeds the dogs and puts them outside and finally helps me get in the car. The contractions were pretty rough by this point and I had to stop and breathe through them...still about 2-3min apart.

We left the house around 3:45am and got to the hospital about 4:15am. Once I got all checked in and changed and in bed, they checked me at about 5am and I was already 7cm! I went in hoping to not need an epidural and they basically said it's now or never after my first check, so I said no. Sure, it was painful, but it definitely wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I opted for a shot of an IV drug, but that mostly just made me a little loopy...didn't seem to ease the pain too much. The contractions continued to get stronger. My parents and sister got there around 6am and John's mom showed up shortly after. By 7am, I was more than ready to start pushing and after about an hour, Ella Renee was born at 8:14am, weighing in at just 6lb 5oz and 18.5" long. She was so little!

My first baby and I only had to endure a 6 hour labor and an hour of pushing...all without an epidural. It was so much easier than I was anticipating! I did, however, end up with full blown pre-eclampsia post delivery. I was on a magnesium drip for 24 hours which made my head feel like it was floating in a bowl of water. And because I was still hooked up to the darn IV, I had to call for a nurse every single time I had to pee. That sucked. But after a day and a half, I finally got off the IV and got an oral blood pressure medicine. That was helping enough that by Saturday morning, I was cleared to go home. As was Ella, who was doing just fantastically!

There you have her story...now I'll share some pictures of her first 3 1/2 months so far. :o)

Ummm...

...hello?

::crickets chirping::

Anybody out there?

::chirp...chirp...chirp::

Hey, it's okay. I understand. I haven't been around. At all. In quite a while.

Sorry.

But, if y'all will have me, I'd like to come back. Would that be okay?

We've now gotten through the first 3 months of parenthood and things are starting to get a little easier. I might actually have time now to write more! I've actually been thinking of different things to write about lately, but I was a little embarassed to just come back full force with no "re-introduction".

If you've followed me in the past, you'll notice that, (yet again, I know...), I changed up the blog a bit. I was tired of wondering so much if my blog title was a right fit for me, or if it made sense to anyone...or whatever. So now, it's just me. And my ramblings. Hope y'all don't mind too much. I think I'm done making changes. I think. We'll see, I guess. :o)

Well, if there's anyone left reading, just wanted to let you know I'm back. And I hope to continue writing at a fairly consistent pace this time. And I really hope to come up with more interesting things to write about so you all will stick with me! :o)

Thanks for letting me come back!!

I give up

Well folks. I think it may be time for me to throw in the towel. As much as I've enjoyed meeting you bloggy buddies, I am a HORRIBLE blog buddy myself.

There was a time in my life, not too long ago, where I craved the connection of people and their stories and wanted to do it all. Blog. Tweet. Comment. Read. Obviously, times have changed a bit and I'm no longer able to do all these things. And frankly, I'm okay with that. I'm so busy and wrapped up in my own life right now that really it's just rude to lead y'all on any longer.

Now, don't write me off completely just yet. I PROMISE to at least come back and post when baby Ella makes her arrival. I'm not that rude! And really, who knows? Once I'm not working anymore and start getting totally bored during the day, you may see me again. So I will keep the ol' blog running and I may be back. If not regularly, at least from time to time with little updates.

But I won't kid myself anymore. I'm too busy, tired, and uninteresting at the moment to even try to keep up with blogging.

And with that I say, "Farewell, my friends!" At least for a little while.

Afraid...and an ultimatum

Let me start with a little back story. I believe I posted about this early last year, but I don't have time to go find that post right now.

Anywho...so last March, John and I travelled to Florida for my cousin's wedding. On the flight there, John fell asleep. I can never sleep on planes so I just sat there while he slept. After a little while, I noticed his strange breathing. He would take about 3 or 4 breaths and then he would stop. Stop breathing. For a good 10-12 seconds. It went on so long I started counting. I thought it was really weird. I'd never noticed that before.

While in Florida, I mentioned it to my mom, who is a nurse. All of a sudden she gets very concerned and says that that is sleep apnea and it can be very dangerous. I had no idea! She asked how long it had been going on and of course, I didn't know. Most of the time when he's sleeping, I'm sleeping so I don't notice. John, like always, brushes it aside as overreaction. He says his dad has sleep apnea and it probably just runs in the family. Uh, well, his dad is also a good 150 pounds overweight. Not a good comparison. So my mom tells him that if he lost about 20 or pounds, it would probably go away. We already had a vacation planned for July, so I told him he had to lose 30-40 pounds by the trip or he would have to go do a sleep study and get treated for the sleep apnea. Well, he only lost about 10 pounds before the trip, but I didn't push the issue of a sleep study. It was really regular that this would happen and I didn't notice it often, so it kind of faded to the back of my mind.

Fast forward to last night. I woke up about 5:30am after having a terrible dream, so I snuggled up close to John to make myself feel better. Wouldn't you know, it was happening again. 3 breaths, then nothing, for 10-12 seconds. I could not fall back asleep. I just laid there listening to him breath. And then not breath. And then breath again. For half an hour. Every time he stopped breathing, I would nudge him, try to make him breath. Didn't help. I got out of bed about 6am, 45 minutes before my alarm was to go off. I couldn't lay there anymore. I had too much on my mind now.

I just kept thinking about what my mom had said. If he lost about 30 pounds, it would probably go away on it's own. Granted, John could definitely stand to lose a good 40 pounds. And I try to ask all the time, "so...when are you going to lose weight?" He knows he needs to. He wants to. He just never does anything about it. Well, tonight, that's going to change. I refuse to take a laid back stance on this any longer. I don't care what the excuses are. I don't care if he hates me for making him do it. He WILL start to work towards losing this weight.

It definitely frightened me, last spring, when I thought that he might die in his sleep one night. I never want to wake up to find my husband has just stopped breathing entirely during the night. Never to wake up again. But back then, it was just me. I would probably survive.

But now.

Now, there is a whole nother life that depends on this man for everything! As much as I don't want to lose my husband to something that could be so easily preventable...I will NOT let my daughter lose her father before she even has a chance to know who he is.

And so, tonight, I will sit down with John and tell him. If he does not start to lose weight, and lose at least 25-30 pounds before Ella is born, he WILL go to a sleep study and get treatment for this. I am not going to sit around any longer on the side lines. I won't go to bed every night anymore wondering if he'll wake up in the morning. It's not just me anymore that he should be worried about leaving behind. He has a family now.

Thanks for listening guys. I really needed to get that out. I just hope I have the courage to do it all over again once John gets home tonight. Wish me luck!

Finally!

Okay, so I've been feeling Ella kick and squirm around for several weeks now. In the past maybe 3 weeks, you could start to feel her in the outside of my tummy. Kinda neat, right? Well, John thinks it's so cool and he wants to feel her kick! So when he's actually home and she's kicking, I'll tell him to try to feel. No joke, EVERY single time this has happened, the second he puts his hand on my belly, she stops! He'll even sit there for several minutes waiting for her to kick again and she never does!

I started joking with him the since he's gone so much, she doesn't know who he is. Or that she just doesn't like him. Mean, I know. But it was funny! This happened several times a week! He started getting so frustrated!

So last night, I'm lounging on the couch reading. Go figure, John I working late so he wasn't home yet. Well, Ella was all up in my side just squirming up a storm! My belly was contorting in all kinds of weird shapes. And let me tell you, when its in your side, its not that comfortable! Anywho, this was going on for a good half hour. Just about then, John gets home. Like usual, he's on the phone as he walks through the front door. I swear, I kid you not, she was moving when I heard him in the driveway, but the second he opens the door, blabbing away on the phone, she stopped!

He comes and sits on the couch, still on the phone. (can you tell it kind of annoys me how much he's on the phone??) She did a few twitches here and there, but of course I can't tell him since he's ON THE PHONE.

Not much later I went to bed. Did I mention he didn't get home until 9:30pm? I wake up 3 hours later, 1am mind you, and John is still not in bed. What. The. Heck. He's on the computer. Looking at boats we can't afford, no doubt. Seriously?? So I'm awake, so of course I get up to pee. He finally comes in to bed about 20 minutes later, just as I'm dozing back off to sleep. He gets all cuddled up and puts his hand on belly, like he does most nights, "just in case" she's kicking. Well, turns out she actually was this time! And he finally felt ONE kick! He goes, "I felt her!" And he started moving his hand around to try to feel more.

At that exact moment, Major starts barking. No big deal, right? He sometimes will bark in the middle of the night if he's sill awake and some teenager drives by with the radio too loud. Of course, not this time. This time, he doesn't stop barking. And then Cocoa started barking. Now, Cocoa does not bark often so when she does, there's usually something wrong.

John gets up, takes his gun from the nightstand and goes to check it out. He takes the gate off the top of the stairs and both dogs go running downstairs just barking their heads off! So, what was all the commotion about? There were cops, on foot, chasing somebody through our subdivision!! John said he look out the window and saw two cops running across the cul-de-sac, then they jumped in a police car and sped off through the subdivision! Crazy, right??

Boy, it was a long night, I tell you what. After all the cop chasing is over, at least from in front of our house, John comes back to bed. I'm like totally awake now since it was all just a tad on the scary side. Ella is kicking like crazy, which is also keeping me awake. Then I realize she must be kicking so much because I am STARVING. My stomach starts growling and I can't fall asleep. So at 2 o'clock in the morning, I'm heading downstairs for a snack just so I can go back to sleep for 4 1/2 more hours!

Longest night ever, I swear. And I totally wish I was making all this up! But no. Apparently this is what my life is actually like these days.

Just call me "little miss fattie"

I went to the doctor on Monday, right? Well, I had noticed that I had already gained my initial recommended 25lbs. ::gasp!!::

I know, right? That's MORE than a pound per week for the entire pregnancy!

Well, since I've had a couple appointments where my interval gain has been higher than expected, my doctor has mentioned this fact to me and told me (multiple) times to "watch that weight gain". I was completely dreading this visit. I mean, I know I've gotten larger in other areas BESIDES my belly, but I didn't think it was that bad. I can still squeeze into my old pants...as long as they aren't buttoned...or zipped.

So I'm a little nervous waiting in the room. Then the nurse comes in and starts going on and on about how I barely look pregnant at all! And I must not have gained hardly any weight so far!

Then she looked at my chart.

"Oh."

But then she discovered my starting weight and said I shouldn't have been that skinny to begin with and I just look fabulous. Blah blah blah. I mean, it was nice to hear, don't get me wrong. But she said, and I quote, "You just look like you've had a few too many beers!"

Gee...thanks lady. And I don't even drink beer! Like, ever.

Anyway...she leaves and the doctor comes in. She kind of "tsk, tsk"s about my weight gain thus far. "You may need a little more crunch per your calorie."

Well, poo on you, too.

Said I REALLY need to watch it from now on and if it really starts to ge out of hand I'll have to start writing down everything I eat to go over with her at my appointments! Gah!

Thank heavens for water aerobics twice a week for the next month and a half. I obviously need to get my fat butt in gear!!

I am pretty disappointed in myself for allowing my butt to get so cottage cheesy. Yuck. I've gotten rid of cellulite before and by god, I'll do it again!!

Okay, fattie rant over.

Think I'll go find something to snack on. :o)

Day off

I took the day off today. Initially, I had a doctor's appointment this afternoon so was planning on just a half day at work. Not a week later, I get a postcard in the mail that the dogs are due for shots. So, I made their appointment for this morning so I could have a whole day! It's so nice to have a Monday off. Just prolongs the weekend. :o)

We've been quite busy around here, but what else is new? John's company is actually working on a project to help the big gulf oil spill so he's been working 7 days a week since Memorial Day so they can get the project done. He FINALLY didn't actually go into the office yesterday, so we were able to go to Babies R Us and finish our registry. One more check on the baby to do list! Registry's done! I can't believe I've got less than 4 months until the due date. Seriously?? There's still sooooooo much to do!!

I'm so excited that this week marks 24 weeks of pregnancy. And that means, viable baby! Having my best friend just go through an extremely high risk pregnancy and ultimately end up delivering at just 26 weeks, it probably means a lot more to me than most others. Not that I've had any problems so far, but it's just nice to know I made it so far.

Well, look at that. Time to leave for the doctor...

...okay, so I'm back now. Much much later. :o) Had some errands to run and then water aerobics class then had to make dinner and eat and finish watching Secret Life of the American Teenager. We're nerds, I know.

Umm...so where was I? The only thing I remember I was going to tell you...have I mentioned yet what we're going to name little baby here? I don't remember if I did or not. If not, we've decided on the name Ella Renee. I love having a name all picked out. Now we can actually refer to her as Ella and not just "her" or "baby". It's pretty exciting.

Anywho...I should be going. Time for bed and then off to another oh so wonderful day at the office. :oP Hope to most more soon!

Blog template challenged...

You all know how I introduced a new blog template a while back. Well, as you can still tell, I haven't done any updating to it at all. Turns out, I'm kind of retarded. The template I just downloaded from one of those "free blogger templates" sites. And I have no idea how to customize it. None. What. So. Ever.

So. My question for you is this. Has anyone had someone do a custom template for them? One that's not expensive? One that is easily customize-able? Like adding new buttons, or link, or badges, or fun stuff like that without screwing up the whole thing?? One where I can actually figure out how to USE the links and do custom links? {BTW, I don't even know what RSS Feeds are!!}

Wow. I am such a blog retard.

I need help!

First, some deliciousness!

Since it's been almost a MONTH since I last posted, I figured I should stop in and say hello!

"Hello!"

I had the idea for this post for quite some time now. Even took the pictures so I could post it. And then never did. Oopsie.

But I am here now and you will finally get to hear about the most delicious breakfast/snack that you've ever eaten in your life!! (Okay, maybe not, but it's still quite fabulous.) Let me start by saying that through the first few months of this pregnancy, the thought of eating yogurt completely turned my stomach. As much as it's a great snack for us preggos, I couldn't stand it. Even though normally I like yogurt. Well, anywho, the only times when yogurt sounded good was when I was thinking of a yogurt parfait. You know, the kind you can get at McDonald's or Chick-fil-A. But I was trying to be good and stay away from fast food so I never got one. Well, then about a month ago, the craving for a yogurt parfait was just about unbearable. I HAD to have one. I was on my way to the grocery store at the time, so I decided I'd see if they sold pre-made parfaits.

They didn't.

I was just about to check out, completely devastated about not getting a yogurt parfait, when I had an epiphany. "Duh! Why can't I just make my own??" And so off I ran I casually strolled away to find yogurt, fruit, and granola. The next morning, I whipped one together and swore I had never eaten anything so magnificent! And being so gracious as I am, I decided to share with the rest of you. [Instead of hoarding away all the yogurt, fruit and granola for my own enjoyment.]

Here are my ingredients:

I shop at Kroger, can you tell?

The first couple times I made it was in a coffee mug, so I filled it about half full of yogurt, then spooned a few spoonfuls of the berries with a little of the syrup over the yogurt. Next came a couple more spoonfuls of yogurt to cover the berries, and topped it off with some nice granola. Mmm. Heaven.

Then I decided that I'd like it as a snack at work, so I made in a little 1 or 2cup size tupperware. Which made a pretty picture all put together. See?

There you have it my friends. One de-lisho snack! I hope you try it out and I really hope you enjoy just as much as I do!!

Picture time!

Alright, so since I have no more books to read, I actually got some things done this evening! Some of which included scanning in my ultrasound pictures...so here's a couple of them:

Regular profile pic

Almost sucking her thumb!

The "alien" picture...looks like the Terminator to me! :o)

Darn that Sookie Stackhouse!

Sorry I haven't posted yet! Those gosh darn Sookie Stackhouse books have me so hooked! Thank goodness I finished the last one I have at the house last night. Maybe I'll actually get something accomplished now! Good grief. They're just that good!

Anywho...so I meant to write this post after I had scanned in our ultrasound pictures from yesterday, but I didn't get them scanned. (Gee, I wonder why, Sookie??) So for now, I will just tell you the result and once I DO finally scan the pics, I'll post them later.

Some of you already saw from facebook yesterday, but it is a......

GIRL!!!

It's so exciting to finally know! Now I can call her a "her" and not "it" or just "the baby". So now it's onto the name game! So far we both agree on Ella. I kind of want Veronica as the middle name in honor of my grandmother's middle name since she's in pretty poor health these days and might not make it to see her latest great-granddaughter. But Ella Veronica doesn't really go and John didn't seem too keen on Audrey Veronica, which I liked. Got about 5 months to figure it out, I guess!

Other than that, the ultrasound tech said everything looked great. She's right where she should be and everything's accounted for. Phew!

I hope all is well for you all out there. I haven't had much time to read up on too many of y'alls blogs. Sorry. Been just a tad busy around here as of late.

Well, until next time. Ta ta!!

So a few things.

Well, I went on my trip to Brazil. It was a wonderfully relaxing week. John worked half days most days I was there so I had lots of time to myself, but I read a lot. And watched movies. I just needed the down time. :o) I wish I wouldn't have forgotten my Portuguese language books! I didn't know what anyone was saying! I was glad to come home though. With not knowing the language and their food was kinda weird, it was nice to come home.

Of course, I get home without John. He ended up having to stay a bit longer, but he did get back just 4 days later. So not too bad. It's so wonderful to have him home though!!

My first day back to work, they fired one of the other guys that does my same job. I was NOT happy. Neither was he, obviously, and they didn't even give him a reason for his termination! We were supposed to have a new guy start yesterday to replace him, but that fell through at the last minute. So now my job continues to suck, royally. Have I mentioned that there are only two of us doing the job that used to take six?? And we've even taken on more responsibilities since then. Ugh.

We went down to visit our parents this past weekend. My mom had bought us our very first baby item. (yes, I'm 4 1/2 months along and have not bought a single thing!) It's two sleeping gowns and they're just adorable! So I had to share. :o)

The duckies says "squeeze me" and the giraffe and elephant says "I love hugs". Is that not too cute?? They even have little fold over cuffs to cover baby's fingers so they don't scratch themselves.

Btw, we find out the gender next monday! I can't wait. I'll probably really start getting into it after that since it'll finally be a "he" or a "she" instead of an "it"! So far most everyone thinks girl. Anybody care to take a guess? :o)

Well, that's all for now. If I don't post again before Monday, I'll be sure to put in a quick note to fill you in on the gender!

Hi-dey Ho!

Oh, my. Well, hello there. Nice to see you all again. It's been too long. I know, I know, I can't keep a consistent schedule to save my life these days. Lay some big fat news on you, then POOF! I'm gone!

Life has still been rough being a pregnant single doggy parent the last few weeks. Still had a ton going on. When does life slow down??

But I have some awesome news!! Not only does John come home next Saturday, but I get to fly out there this Friday and spend a week with him in Brazil and then come home with him!! I am beyond excited! Not sure how I'll ever get ready in time, but it's going to be a great week. I'm a little nervous about the 10 hour flight and then 7 hour layover all by myself, but it'll be worth it just to be able to finally see my husband again after a month and a half! I wish I could say I'd take a lot of pictures, but since he'll technically still be working, I don't think we'll be able to do much sightseeing. It'll mostly be the pool or the beach. Which is quite alright with me. I just need this week of relaxation!

Wish me luck! I'll at least let you know I'm still alive after we get back. :o)

Some quick updates

Just wanted to pop in and throw out a few quick updates on where I've been lately.

We bought season tickets to the Houston Rodeo this year because sooooooo many awesome performers were coming. We did sell a lot if the tickets, but I personally still went to 9 out of 21 shows. While it was great fun, I'm glad it's over now. It was exhausting!

Three shows into the rodeo and John found out he's Brazil bound again. He left on the 8th. He was supposed to come back on the 27th. I learned Friday that March 27th has turned into April 24th. :oP That a big thumb's down from me! A whole nother month. What. A. Bummer.

I hosted a bridal shower at my house this past sunday for my sister in law. It was a lot of fun, but boy am I worn out. I can't believe the wedding is getting so close!

I had another doctor appointment this morning. I got to hear the heartbeat for the very first time! 162bpm. I even recorded it on my phone and sent it John since he couldn't be there. He thought that was pretty neat. 12 weeks tomorrow so maybe I'll finally do the big facebook announcement here pretty soon. Since our families and good friends all already know.

Other than all that, work has been more than overwhelming lately. I am now just counting down the days until I can leave. Sad, I know. So yeah, I've had a bit going on... I did take pictures of all my rodeo shows so hopefully I'll get up a post of all that.

Talk to y'all soon!

Take Two...

Okay y'all. I'm trying this again...

I was planning a big elaborate post fir this announcement, but if anyone has seen my schedule lately, you'd know that about darn near impossible to do these days. So in an effort to at least get the news out, guess I'll just come right out and say it.

I'm pregnant!!

Big news, huh? Especially when I didn't think it would happen so soon. Just lucky, I guess. After we found out about my cyst, we were going to hold off continuing to try until I got it all taken care of. But it was already too late! Funny how things work out sometimes.

So I'm about 10 1/2 weeks right now. Been pretty non-eventful so far. ::knock on wood:: Haven't been sick. Haven't been too terribly tired. But I'm definitely going to bed earlier than I used to, that's for sure. Yep, just hungry all the time...which is not helping out the GRADUAL weight gain my doctor has recommended. Oops. Now that I'm starting to get some energy back though (and it's finally warming up outside), I'm going to start walking more and keep all this gaining better in check.

So. Yeah. Big news. Little scary. But I hope you all will stay with me through this new journey in my life. I'll need the support, I'm sure! :o)

Are you kidding me??

Ugh! I just spen like an hour writing a new post. An important one at that. And the darn thing didn't publish it. Or save it! Lost the whole thing. Dang it. Well, sorry...now you'll just have to keep waiting on my announcement since I don't have another hour right now to write it over again. Poo.
